Drainage
has been completely upgraded including a curtain drain (surface to perimeter drain) on the North and East (high) sides of the building
The curtain drain consists of a 6" wide column of drain rock from the soil surface down to the perimeter drain at basement floor depth.
The drain rock is protected from sediment infiltration on both sides by garden cloth.
All downspout flow is directed to 3" solid PVC pipe which connects (after the perforated perimeter drain) to the 4" solid PVC and then to the city storm drain.
The code standard of 4" perforated PVC pipe(along the house) and 4"solid PVC pipe (from house to city storm drains) pipe is laid.
It all begins with the excavation to discover location of existing sewer and drainage
